Ms. Nannie Pollard Croney’s collection highlights her mother, Mary E. Pollard and her daughter, Dr. Tresa C. Banks, roles in Hopkinsville. Ms. Pollard ran a daycare for African American children. Family members have petitioned the mayor of Hopkinsville to rename a street in honor of Ms. Pollard. Dr. Banks purchased a dental office in Hopkinsville in the late 1980s.
